Michael Lawshe

Mr. G. Michael Lawshe brings Avalon Net Worth's clients a diverse background in management, finance, operations and sales & marketing in various industries from commercial electronics to construction services. Over the past, corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions for various private and public companies during the past twenty-eight years.

Mr. Lawshe is currently Chairman of the Board for Master Video Systems, Inc. a commercial electronics company specializing in television and sound & video systems focused on the Healthcare, Hospitality, stadium venues and other various commercial markets. Mr. Lawshe initially served as its president beginning in 2004. Mr. Lawshe also serves as an advisor to several private equity firms and family offices. 

Mr. Lawshe was a candidate for the Texas House of Representatives in 2002 and was narrowly defeated in the Republican Primary by less than two-hundred votes. Mr. Lawshe continues to be active in national & state politics.

Mr. Lawshe was an associate with a boutique investment-banking group from 2000-2002, where he was responsible for providing corporate financial advisory services to assist established and emerging companies with capital growth for business expansions or acquisitions through debt or equity. Mr. Lawshe was a member of a turnaround-consulting team from 1998-2000 that assisted troubled companies with corporate restructuring; including strategic planning, disposition of subsidiary and affiliated companies and their assets, debt restructuring, litigation support and SEC and NASD compliance. He was an analyst on a corporate finance team for a publicly-traded holding company from 1996-1998. The company had holdings in waste management, propane distribution and franchise operations. Mr. Lawshe’s merger & acquisition activities included identifying prospective acquisition targets, performing due diligence on target companies, market analysis, strategic planning, financing, SEC & FINRA compliance reporting, & post-acquisition integration.

Mr. Lawshe retired from the U.S. Army in 2008 with a rank of Lt. Colonel, and served on Active Duty and in the Texas Army National Guard for over 24 years. Mr. Lawshe honorably served in various military operations in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and New Orleans as a result of Hurricane Katrina & Hurricane Rita.

Mr. Lawshe is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, he also holds an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Amberton University. He also served as a Congressional Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington D.C. in 1981. Mr. Lawshe has a Series 79 and Series 66 license with Avalon Securities, Ltd.
