David McAdams
Mr. McAdams serves as Managing Director. Mr. McAdams's expertise includes the Energy/Oil & Gas Industry, Manufacturing sector, & Private Placements and holds Series 79, 3, 7, 63, 65 licenses.
David is the VP of Business Development at Coquest Inc, an international institutional commodity brokerage firm which executes trades for multi-national corporations, institutional banks, oil companies, utilities, energy marketers, hedge funds, & family offices. David advises the oil & gas industry, private equity, banks, CPAs, attorneys, and other executives on commodity trading, alternative investments, & hedging needs along with that of their clients.
Prior to Coquest, he advised energy & manufacturing clients in corporate finance with a global consulting firm. David began his career with a regional independent in the oil and gas business with operating divisions including E&P, midstream, & services. His role was centered on asset valuation of both internal assets as well as M&A activities. David attended Trinity University in San Antonio TX where he studied finance and economics. David first learned of the oil and gas industry at a young age through family royalty interests and decided to pursue it as a career prior to college.
David is a member of Dallas Petroleum Club, Dallas Wildcat Committee, ADAM Energy Forum, Fort Worth Wildcatters, San Antonio Petroleum Club, Dallas CASA, & ACG DFW.
